Nursing Resources Home Care Aides assist patients for Short Term Care or Long Term Care . Our Home Care Aides are all certified with 75 hours of training including: CPR, proper body mechanics, personal hygiene, basic nurse aide skills and safety and emotional concerns of the elderly. All cases are opened first with a RN assessment and checked every 60 days by an RN, to monitor for safety. All homecare aides working for Nursing Resources have passed a thorough criminal background check, and are bonded and insured .
Our nurses develop a completely individualized home care aide care plan for each client.
Aides assist with daily living activities. In the case of short-term care, Medicare allows aides to assist with showering and dressing, as they recuperate, getting nursing and therapy.
For long-term private pay cases, or Medicaid’s Passport and Wavier cases, aides assist with
- Meal preparation
- Bathing & dressing
- Transporting for medical appointments
- Errands
- Companionship
