Short Term Care

Our nursing, therapy and home care aide services are often needed for care following a stay in a hospital or nursing/rehabilitation center.  With an approval from your physician, Medicare plans generally cover at least 3 to 8 weeks of short-term skilled care as you recover at home. For example, if you have a bone fracture, a disease of the heart, lung, or kidneys, or if you are recovering from surgery, a nurse (RN) case manager and therapist will be sent to your home to assess your needs.  Your  care may include nursing visits to assist with disease management, therapy visits for strengthening and balance, and home care aide visits to assist with your personal care functions like bathing and dressing.
